Shipping: Uberrime is based in the US. They usually ship between 1-9 business days within North America and 2-4 weeks to Europe. I received mine pretty fast, because they shipped it as a priority. Shipping within US is free, but additional costs apply for overseas shipping.

Package: The Selene Moon Goddess Fantasy Dildo arrived securely in a plastic see-through bag.

Manufracture: Uberrime. It is a Latin word for luxury, abundance and fruitfully copious. They are a commercial maker’s space in Orlando Florida. Marco is the maker, who is clearly passionate about handcrafting all his unique creations.

The Pleasure Toy

The Selene Moon Goddess is a Fantasy Dildo. Meaning, a dildo that is not aimed to look realistic. Fantasy dildos usually have a lot more texture, shape & colour. In Greek mythology, “Selen” is the Goddess and personification of the moon. The Dildo can be used vaginal and/or anally due to the flare base. Therefore, it can be enjoyed by any gender. It can be for solo and/or partnered play.

Material, shape & texture: The Selene Moon Goddess Dildo is made with platinum silicone. The density is soft, shore 0050. The higher the shore density number is the harder the material is. It has a small flare base with minimal suction endings. It might work with some strap on harness.

The default colour for the Selene is “glow in the dark blue” with “white gold glitter”. But you can choose over 40+ other custom colourations. I won’t list them all as this would be to overwhelming. They have a gallery to showcase some examples of the options available. When selecting a colour, the first one will be the “accent” colour, which appears mostly at the top or tip of the dildo. The second colour is the middle colour, which marbles with the accent and third base colour. All Uberrime Dildos are handmade, which means that not all will look exactly the same. I believe mine is the Selene in tryst.

Measurements: I measured the Selene Moon Goddess Fantasy Dildo to be about 7.8 inch in total with almost 1.5 inch in girth at the head/top, going up to about 1.75 inch at the shaft and 2 inch at the base. I would say about 6 inch can be inserted. You might be able to use Selene in a strap-on/harness, depending on the opening.

Care: Due to the silicone, I would suggest to clean it with mild soapy warm water and let it air dry or use a toy towel to dry it. Make sure you are getting into the textures to clean it properly! A cotton wool stick or similar might be helpful in this. It is waterproof, which makes the cleaning easier. You could also use compatible toy cleaners or wipes. Silicone can also be boiled in water to sterilize when needed.

Waterproof: Yes, fully waterproof

Storage: The Selene Moon Goddess Fantasy Dildo didn’t come with a storage bag. You could store it in a box, drawer, place it on the shelf or organise a separate storage bag for it (breathable is best). Make sure it is cleaned and completely dried before storing it away – in a cool, dry & dark place.

Lube: Due to the silicone, I would suggest to use water-based lube with it. This will make it a more sliding pleasurable experience.

My personal review

My experience summary: I’m amazed by this beautiful detailed design! The communication with Marco the maker has been super kind, through that, his toys and his story I read on his page – you can clearly feel that he is passionate about what he does and it shows! The quality is amazing! The colour swirl is beautiful, no cracks and a delicious medium squishiness. The Selene Moon Goddess Dildo has so much detailed textured, that I couldn’t only see, but also feel! Its base has a slight ring at the outline, making it suction friendly. I was able to stick the Dildo onto my tiles. When riding the Selene, I felt the small chains around it. I like that slight bigger head and I love the slight curve of the Selene. I preferred using the Selene in the way that the slight curve was bending in and up, and combined with the length and girth of Selene, it was perfect for my pussy to hit beautifully my G-spot! Luckily, tiles are easy to clean up afterwards, so I was able to fully let go. Selene made me squirt! The slower I moved the more I was able to experience the textures of Selene. I used a lot of water-based lube with it to make it extra sliding. I only used Selene vaginally, but I can imagine that the extra textures can be very pleasurable and fun anally as well. Due to the size, shape and the experiences that I had with the Selene, I believe this is a great fantasy Dildo for beginners as well. I love that the more you actually slow down and be present with it, the more you can feel of the detailed textures. That’s what I love about fantasy/monster/alien dildos, they are unique and provide opportunities for unique pleasure experiences.
